The idea for this directory came from trying to connect with other providers in my community and finding that it was hard to know who I could trust to send my clients to. As someone who has been putting my values out front for years, I’m often asked for referrals to other providers who are trauma-informed, have a feminist lens, and consider the impact of systemic and societal oppression in the services they provide. Mothers are particularly vulnerable and in need of a validating and safe support system. I see this directory as an important part of the village that all mothers and families deserve.
